Prachanda’s claim: ‘UML and Congress will unite with Maoists after federal and state elections’
Kathmandu: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist party Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has claimed that UML and the Congress will coordinate with the Maoist party after the upcoming federal and state elections.
Speaking at a function to honor the newly elected people’s representatives in Lalitpur on Thursday, Prachanda, who is also a former prime minister, said so.
He said that the Maoists had to join hands with other parties in the last election but the key to power was in their own hands.
“After the state and federal elections, our dream is that we don’t have to go along with others, others have to come with us. If the Congress and the UML do not agree with the UCPN (M), they will be heading to a place where there is no way out. ‘ The key is in our hands. But the key is that we have to go together with each other and only then it will be unlocked. ‘We have to go together as one, to unlock the way out.’
