MG is the iconic British automobile brand, renowned for its sporty, exciting and value-for-money cars globally. The iconic history of MG can be traced back to 1924. MG stands for Morris Garages, the name chosen by MG’s founder Cecil Kimber as a show of respect for his then boss, William Morris.
MG (Morris Garage), a nine-decade-old British automaker, has a high popularity throughout Europe, the Netherlands, Norway, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, Chile, Australia, the Middle East, and in Nepal. According to Paramount Motors, the official distributor for MG automobiles in Nepal, SAIC Motors has secured an order for 3000 units of MG ZS EV in Europe.
The 2022 version of the ZS EV has been released in Nepal by MG Motors Nepal. Unlike its predecessor (released in 2019), the new ZS EV features significant aesthetic improvements, as well as two updated battery options: 51.1 kWh and 72.6 kWh. According to WLTP, the long-range EV has a maximum range of 440 kilometers.
MG ZS EV Overview
The 110kW electric SUV MG ZS has a maximum torque of 350Nm, and its lithium-ion battery can charge up to 80% in 30 minutes. The MG ZS EV has a range of up to 428 kilometers (base) after a single charge, and its battery has an 8-year or 1,80,000-kilometer warranty.
A premium large sunroof and a comfy electric seat are also available. It features three driving modes, allowing divers to select their preferred mode. These modes are Eco, Normal, and Sport, and they allow the automobile to adjust to your daily driving needs. Finally, for an agile and adaptive driving experience, there are three steering modes: Urban, Normal, and Dynamic.
In Nepal, the new MG ZS SUV has a starting price of Rs. 50,99,000/-. The SUV’s battery is covered by an 8-year or 1,50,000-kilometer warranty.
