3000 LP Gas stoves and cylinder provided by the help of India

Kathmandu. With the financial support of India, LP gas stoves, gas cylinders and other materials will be provided in three districts of Madhes Pradesh Nepal.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Embassy of India, Kathmandu and Nepal-India Women Friendly Society to provide LP gas stoves, gas cylinders and other items to the backward households in Sarlahi, Rautahat and Saptari districts of Madhes.

A memorandum of understanding was signed on the occasion of International Women’s Day under the India-Nepal Development Cooperation Program.

India will provide 3,000 LP gas stoves, gas cylinders and other materials in three districts of Madhes with the grant assistance of NER 249,000.

The scheme is one of 75 projects to be inaugurated in Nepal this year under the “Armat Mahotsav of Independence” initiated by the Government of India to celebrate the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.
