India will work for the welfare of Nepali family involved in Indian Army: Ambassador Kwatra
Kathmandu: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra has said that India will work for the welfare of the families of Nepalese who were providing services in Indian Army.
Speaking at an event organized by the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu on Tuesday on the occasion of the 74th Army Day of India, he also expressed his gratitude to the Gurkha soldiers.
Expressing gratitude for the selfless service and sacrifices made by the Gurkha soldiers in the Indian Army, Kwatra reiterated India’s commitment to work for the welfare of Indian Army pensioners and their families in Nepal, according to a statement issued by the Indian Embassy on Tuesday.
In the program, Ambassador Kwatra recalled the deep historical sign between the Indian Army and the Nepal Army connecting the two countries in fraternal relations.
Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma was the chief guest at the event organized by the embassy on Tuesday.
