Restoration of the House of Representatives for the second time : Order to make Deuba the Prime Minister

Kathmandu : The Supreme Court has reconstituted the House of Representatives for the second time.

Today, the Supreme Court restored the House of Representatives and issued an order to appoint opposition alliance candidate Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister.

Accordingly, president office has been asked to convene the House of Representatives within two days after completing the process.

The Supreme Court today annulled the dissolution approved by the President on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.

The issue of dissolving the House of Representatives was debated in the Supreme Court on July 7. Four judges, including the Chief Justice, were in the discussion today.

Earlier, the dissolution of the House of Representatives on December 19 was overturned by the Supreme Court on March 25.
