Policy and programmes tabled in Sudur Paschim; appropriation bill in Karnali

The Sudur Paschim government has decided to accord high priority to COVID-19 prevention, control, treatment and managed in the new fiscal year. Presenting the government’s policy and programmes for 2021/22 at the provincial assembly today, Chief of the Province Ganga Prasad Yadav said a study would be carried on the present and future impact of COVID-19 in the economic sector and economic recovery and revival programmes will be implemented.
The government will also work to vaccinate the residents, provide subsidized loan to those who have lost employment and migrant returnees, and give special priority to the people and region behind in the development index.
Meanwhile in Karnali, the Appropriation Bill was tabled today. Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Gopal Sharma presented the appropriation bill for the policy and programmes for fiscal year 2021/22 at the provincial assembly.

Deliberations on the bill will begin tomorrow, when the assembly meets at 2:00 pm.
