Writ of Parliament Dissolution: The second day of debate is over
Kathmandu : The debate on the dissolution of the House of Representatives ended on the second day, Sunday.
During the hearing in the Constitutional Court of the Supreme Court, which started on Friday, the writ petitioner and the public prosecutor had questioned the judges.
Although the debate between the two sides was over, the issue was kept under wraps as there was no discussion on the facts.
During today’s debate, a member of the Constitutional Court, Judge Bam Bahadur Shrestha, was questioned.
The writ petitioners had said that Judge Shrestha should not look into the present case as he was in the process of deciding the case related to the CPN (Maoist) split. However, public prosecutors have made it clear that judges should not be judged on the basis of the verdict.
