Kathmandu : A meeting of Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Center and Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) is being held today to form a new government.

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of the three parties for 3 pm.

Top leaders of all the three parties have been invited to discuss the formation of a new government at a meeting to be held at 3 pm, according to a Nepali Congress source.

The three-party meeting will discuss the current political situation and power-sharing.

All three parties agree to replace the government led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. However, the Maoists have not withdrawn their support for the government, while the JSP is in talks with Prime Minister Oli.

As a result, the Congress leaders are accusing the government of displacing the Oli government and forming a new government. Maoist leaders, meanwhile, have been saying that withdrawing support to the government and filing a no-confidence motion should go hand in hand.
