CPN (Maoist Centre) to decide soon over its support to incumbent government
Kathmandu : The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) is to take a decision regarding withdrawing its support to the incumbent government soon.
An informal meeting of the standing committee held at the party headquarters, Perisdanda, today decided to take decision on the course of the current political scenario within one or two days, said Spokesperson, Narayankaji Shrestha.
Shrestha added, “An informal meeting took place today. A formal meeting will be held within one or two days. Today’s meeting was held as the preparation of the next meeting. Discussion was held over the talks and meetings held with different political parties as well as analysis of recent political situation was carried out.”
He opined that they would reach to a conclusion by holding discussion with parties.
Arguing that there is no support of CPN (Maoist Centre) to the incumbent government, Spokesperson Shrestha said that they have to support the incumbent government due to some technical reasons.
“The incumbent government has not asked our support and we have not supported the government after the Supreme Court’s order of March 7 split the CPN into two parties”, added Shrestha.
Discussion was held on various issues including how to take party’s organizational process ahead, nation-wide campaign as well as how to organise nation-wide training, gatherings.
