Forest fire broken out in Chisangkhugadhi village, fire out of control

Okhaldhunga : A forest fire has broken out in Chisangkhugadhi village municipality-4 on Tuesday night.

Locals and police are trying to control the fire after it broke out in the forest near the settlement.

Chief District Officer of Sankhuwasabha, Bandana Rai, informed that additional team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force rushed to the spot from the district headquarters after the local police team could not control the incident till Wednesday morning.

She said that an attempt was being made to extinguish the fire in the forest. The fire started on Tuesday night.

Due to the remote location, the fire brigade could not be reached and due to lack of water, Syaula was trying to put out the fire, said Prajia Rai.
