Possibility of Rainfall in hilly areas Today

Kathmandu : Due to the influence of the westerly winds, there will be partial to normal cloud cover in some parts of the country today (Monday).

According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, there will be light rain with thunder in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Far Western Provinces as well as Bagmati and some places in Province No. 1. There is a possibility of light snowfall in high hilly and mountainous areas.

Meteorologist Shanti Kandel of the department informed that the influence of the western wind will continue till evening. According to him, the weather will be clear from Tuesday. Currently, there is complete cloud cover in the western hilly areas of the country while there is normal cloud cover in other hilly areas.

In the afternoon, there will be normal cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country and partial cloud cover in the rest of the country.

According to the latest details of the Weather Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley is 9.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 22.0 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the lowest temperature of Jumla today is zero point seven degrees Celsius.
