Bus accident at Ramechhap, 20 injured

Kathmandu: A bus coming from Salu of Ramechhap to Manthali has met with an accident. The accident took place at Machhetadi.

Inspector Shankar Shrestha of the District Police Office Ramechhap informed Lokpath that 20 out of 53 passengers were injured. He said that five persons injured in the accident have been referred to Madhyapur Thimi Hospital.

The bus met with an accident while going to participate in the Presidential Running Shield competition at the district headquarters Manthali. According to Inspector Shrestha, the bus overturned on the road due to high speed.

He said that further investigation is underway after taking the driver under control.
