Suman Sharma appointed CEO of Sunrise Bank
Kathmandu : Suman Sharma has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sunrise Bank.
After Janak Sharma Poudel resigned on Tuesday, the bank’s board of directors appointed Sharma as CEO. Sharma has been appointed CEO today. Sharma has taken charge from today.
Sharma was earlier the chief executive officer of Machhapuchhre Bank. He had resigned from Machhapuchhre Bank on March 11 due to internal dispute.
Sunrise had appointed Aarti Rana as Deputy Chief Executive Officer last Monday. All three Sharma, Poudel and Rana have previously worked at Global IME Bank.
Sharma also served as Assistant General Manager of NMB Bank. Sharma has about 22 years of experience in the banking sector. He started his banking career at Nepal SBI Bank in 1997 as an officer.
