The hospital is being constructed as per the federal government’s policy to establish a 50-bed infectious disease control hospital in each province after the outbreak of the corona virus disease.

Prior to this, the 44th Senate Meeting of BPKIHS had decided to provide its land plot for the hospital building at Sundarharaicha.
The federal government shall provide budget to the province government for the hospital construction, Registrar Prof Dr Regmi shared.

For this, the federal government has allocated Rs 80 million for the development of the hospital in this fiscal year.

After the completion of the hospital, a joint technical team from the province government and BPKIHS would operate and manage the hospital. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the province government and BPKIHS to this regard on Monday.
