Kathmandu Valley temperature plummets to 0.8 degree Celsius
Kathmandu : The Kathmandu Valley denizens experienced the coldest day of the year so far as the mercury dipped to 0.8 degree Celsius today. Coldness has increased in and out of the Valley.
Thick fog has affected daily life in Terai region. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 1.1 degree Celsius.
Meteorologist Raju Pradhananga shared that the mercury will continue to drop for few days continuously. But Pradhananga ruled out the possibility of the Valley’s temperature to go in minus.
As per the weather update shared by the Department, the maximum temperature of Kathmandu Valley will be 16.6 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, Jumla district recorded the lowest temperature in the country today at -8.5 degrees Celsius. Biratnagar has recorded the highest minimum temperature at 8.2 degrees Celsius today.
