Rural municipality drafts 31 laws

Kathmandu : The Kailash rural municipality in northern Makwanpur has introduced 31 different legislations for operation and management of the rural municipality.

The laws introduced in the past three years have already come into effect. The laws include among others the Administrative Procedures Act, 2075, Work Execution Regulations, 2074, Procedures Regulations, 2074 and Gazette Publication Regulations, 2075, according to the chairperson of the rural municipality Tanka Moktan.

The laws are now being put into effect to carry out the development works in a transparent manner and serve the people as per the law, he added.
