63 succumb to Covid-19 in Banke

Kathmandu : Banke district has so far recorded 63 deaths caused by Covid-19. Among them, 35 are the district residents and 28 from other districts visiting the health facilities in Banke.

Information to this was shared by District Health Office, Banke. Covid-19 focal person at the office, Naresh Shrestha, said even the people from Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces visited Teaching Hopital, Banke and Bheri Hosptial, Nepalgunj.

A person infected with coronavirus died early this morning. The 59-year-old man from Ghorahi-15 of Dang district died while receiving treatment, according to Shrestha.

The man had tested positive for coronavirus at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences in Dang before two weeks. He was referred to the Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj for further treatment after complication. He was receiving treatment at ICU.
