PM expresses grief over lawmaker Pahadi’s death

Kathmandu : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed grief over the death of the Member of House of Representatives, Sanu Shiwa Pahadi.

“I am aggrieved by the passing away of Pahadi, Member of the House of Representatives from our party, NCP, and a culture artiste,” the Prime Minister wrote on the micro blogging social site Twitter. The PM has expressed heartfelt tribute to Pahadi and extended deep condolence to the bereaved family and relatives.

Suffering from kidney and heart ailment for long, she died today while under treatment at the Kathmandu Medical College. She was elected to the House of Representatives, the lower house of the Federal Parliament, from the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) in the election held in 2018.
