JSP chair Yadav bats for further struggle to institutionalize federal democratic republic

Kathmandu : Janata Samajwadi Party chair and former deputy Prime Minister Upendra Yadav spoke of the need for further struggle to institutionalize federal democratic republic in the country.

Welcoming new entrants to the party amidst a programme at Lahan of Siraha on Monday, he underlined the need of waging further struggle to institutionalize the hard-earned federal democratic republic.

The constitution amendment was imperative to institutionalize the form of the federal governance, he said, adding that it was a main challenge to bring positive changes in the lives of the people and uproot corruption propping up in the country.

As many as 50 leaders and cadres defected Nepali Congress, Nepal Communist Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party to join JSP.
