COVID-19 patient dies in Pokhara

Kathmandu: A person died of coronavirus infection while receiving treatment in Pokhara on Monday night.

The 70-year-old man from Pokhara Metropolitan City died under treatment at Manipal Teaching Hospital, according to Gandaki Province Health Directorate.

Admitted to the hospital last week for cancer, the hospital had confirmed coronavirus infection in him just two days ago. With this, a total of 31 persons died of coronavirus in Gandaki.

Likewise, four new cases were confirmed in the State. The new cases are two from Kaski and one each from Gorkha and Syangja totaling the number of infected ones to 3,116. Of them, altogether 1,895 returned home defeating the virus.
