One killed, five injured in road mishap

Kathmandu : A person died and five others were injured in a road mishap along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section this morning.

The deceased have been identified as 28-year-old Ajay Sah of Parawanipur-2 in Parsa, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan. Sah died while undergoing treatment at Old Medical College hospital.

The accident took place when a truck (Na 6 Kha 2423) heading towards Narayangadh from Kathmandu and another truck (Na 4 Kha 8011) coming from opposite direction collided with each other near Khahare bridge of Ichchhakamana rural municipality.

Sah was driver of the truck (Na 4 Kha 8011). The injured are receiving treatment at the same hospital, said Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Chitwan, Surya Bahadur Thapa. The health condition of the injured is normal.
