44 more individuals test positive for virus

Kathmandu: Gandaki State has recorded a total of 44 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours. Of them, 34 are from Pokhara Metropolitan City and four are from Rupa Rural Municipality in Kaski.

According to Director of Province Health Directorate and Spokesperson of Gandaki Province Coronavirus Prevention and Control Programme Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, six individuals from Shukla Gandaki Municipality in Tanahun, three from Madhya Nepal Municipality in Lamjung and one from Putalibazar Municipality tested positive for the virus in the past 24 hours.

With this, the number of infected ones reached 3,064.
