Chief Minister Poudel extends best wishes on Jitiya festival

Kathmandu: Chief Minister at the Bagmati State, Dormani Poudel has said all kinds of challenges surfaced in various sectors were strongly defeated on the base of diverse culture, language, ethnicity and mutual harmony.

Chief Minister Poudel stated this in his message of best wishes on the occasion of Jitiya festival today. He expected that the festival will inspire all to move towards development and prosperity with firm determination and honesty.

The Chief Minister also extended best wishes for peace, prosperity and good health of the people, adding that such cultural festivals furthered social harmony in the diverse society.

The three-day-long Hindu festival is celebrated from the seventh to ninth lunar day of Krishna-Paksha (waning moon phase) in the month of Ashwin in the Tarai belt including Chitwan district.
