Gandaki registers 76 more COVID-19 cases today

Kathmandu. Seventy six coronavirus infection new cases have been found in Gandaki State this morning. With this, the COVID-19 infection tally in the State has reached 2,598, the Gandaki Province Health Directorate’s director, Dr Binoj Bindu Sharma said.

Dr Sharma is also the spokesperson of the Gandaki State COVID-19 Prevention and Control Programme.

According to him, among the new cases found today, 31 are from Pokhara Metropolitan City, 15 are from Nawalparasi Purba, 18 are from Gorkha and three are from Tanahu. Among the additional cases in Pokhara, 17 are women and eight men working at Pokhara Foods Pvt Ltd.

Similarly, two persons undergoing treatment at Medicity Hospital and two staff nurses and a helper at the Western Region Community Hospital also tested positive for coronavirus in Pokhara today. All the infected are being taken to isolation centres.
