Home Minister Thapa’s team reaches flood-hit Dhorpatan with relief materials

Kathmandu. A team including Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa today reached Dhorpatan in Baglung district with relief materials for the flood victims.

The team reached the area on a helicopter of Nepali Army, said the minister’s security advisor Dr Indrajit Rai. The helicopter carrying the team and relief materials heading to the incident area on Thursday had to return midway.
Fourteen people were killed and many more had gone missing when a flooded river gushed and deluged the settlements at Dhorpatan on Wednesday night. More than 30 houses were destroyed completely in the disaster.
