Kathmandu. Executive Director at Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Kulman Ghising has said he executed the administrative reform in the authority with clear guideline of the prime minister, and energy minister so that the load shedding was ended the country.

“Direction and guideline of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Energy Minister Barshaman Pun, and untiring employees at NEA are the major impetus to ensure profit to the NEA. It has become competent and competitive because of concerted efforts. Only my lone efforts could not realize this reform,” he reminded in a press release on Thursday.

He said his attention was drawn seriously towards the social media reports that he was reappointed to the post for further four years as executive director. The news also implicated the Prime Minister and Energy Minister. He urged everyone not to be swayed by the rumours.

ED Ghising urged everyone not to spread false information about him.

The NRA’s co-spokesperson and member secretariat of the dialogue programme secretariat Manohar Ghimire said the research papers would be finalised after incorporating suggestions received and they would be presented in an international conference.

Of the research papers tabled in the programme, 20 would be sent to a Japan-based journal, he said. The NRA has already struck a memorandum of understanding with the journal in this regard. Aside from publishing some research papers, it will archive various aspects of them, documents related to the reconstruction and rehabilitation and institutional achievements.

On the occasion, experts in various sectors provided suggestions and commented on the research papers. Approximately 2,200 people participated in all sessions of the programme that took place from August 24.
