Eight die, 124 test positive to coronavirus in State-2
Kathmandu. Eight people died of coronavirus and 124 tested positive to coronavirus in State 2 in last 24 hours.
As per the details issued by Ministry of Social Development of the State-2 government on Thursday, five persons died on coronavirus in Bara, two in Parsa and one in Dhanusha during last 24 hours. With this, number of people who have died of coronavirus has reached 72 in the state.
Similarly, 32 people tested positive to coronavirus in Saptari, four in Siraha, 37 in Dhanusha, six in Mahottari, three in Sarlahi, six in Rautahat, 10 in Bara and 26 in Parsa during the period. With this, number of coronavirus infected people has reached 9,551. Of them, 4,496 people have returned home after recovery so far.
Meanwhile, there are 812 people are in quarantine and 2,554 in home quarantine, 1,121 in isolation and 3,862 in home isolation in the State.
