Prithivi highway obstructed, limited to one way traffic

The Tanahu-Anbukhaireni road section along the Prithivi highway has been obstructed by landslide. As a result, traffic on the road section has been limited to one-way traffic, police said.

The landslide at Ainepahara of Anbukhaireni rural municipality-2 took place early this morning, bring traffic to a halt. However, it is now open for one-way traffic, said DSP at the District Police Office, Tanahu Yubaraj Timalsina.

Efforts are on to clear the debris of the landslide and open the section for regular two-way traffic.
