CM Raut asks security bodies to tighten border points

Chief Minister of State-2, Lalbabu Raut, has directed the security bodies to further tighten border points aimed at controlling the corona virus pandemic.

In a Province Crisis Management Centre (PCMC) meeting concluded Sunday, Chief Minister Raut asked the security bodies to further strengthen the border areas as coronavirus infected people with symptoms were spotted in the State in recent period.

He further said that people have started to enter bordering districts of State-2 illegally. The Chief Minister also sought suggestions from health experts about the measures to remain safe from coronavirus, said Raut’s Press Coordinator Atish Mishra.

He enquired about the progress of the activities carried out by the State government to control coronavirus and directed the bodies concerned to make prevention, control and treatment more effective.

On the occasion, Social Development Minister Nawal Kishor Sah, Chief Secretary Arjun Prasad Pokharel, Secretaries of different ministries, chiefs of security bodies and health experts were also present.
