PM Oli in consultation with ministers

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli now is consulting with ministers and ministers of state in his cabinet.

He is holding discussion with the ministers and state ministers on contemporary political issues, informed PM’s press adviser Surya Thapa. The Prime Minister is in consultation with the ministers and state ministers at the Prime Minister’s residence at Baluwatar following he called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at Sheetal Niwas this evening.

It may be noted that there has been dispute on some thorny issues at the senior leadership level of the ruling Nepal Communist Party. It has also resulted in the adjournment of the party’s standing committee meeting time and again.

Party chair duo KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have also been holding discussions in different phases on the contentious issues of the party. Earlier, the discussion held between the chair duo Oli and Dahal on Friday took headway towards positive direction on the management of the dispute.

However, there was no discussion between the two today. Chair Dahal is also in consultation with different leaders on ending the dispute and strengthening party unity, it is learnt.
