Social worker Joshi dies at 89
Social worker and educationalist Angur Baba Joshi has died on Saturday. She was 89.
She died at Neuro Hospital in Maharajgunj in Kathmandu. Born in Dillibazaar in Kathmandu in 1988 BS, she made main contribution to the establishment of Padma Kanya Campus. She did higher education from a university in United Kingdom and earned a degree in politics and Sanskrit from a university in Banaras in India.
She published a story collection in 2032 BS. Utkrishta Prakashan Pvt. Ltd published her autobiography entitled ‘Akshar Sadhana Ra Godhuli Sanjh’ in 2074 BS. She also taught late Queen Aishwarya Shah. She is survived by two daughters and a son.
Last rites of Joshi were conducted at Pashupati Aryaghat on Saturday itself.
