Ward chair arrested with bribe money

Ward Chair of Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality-7 in the district has been arrested today. Chair Devendra Pun was arrested on the charge of taking bribe from timber entrepreneur.

A team of CIAA from Butwal Office arrested Pun with Rs 300,000 bribe money from Jhimjhime of Sainamaina Municiplaity-10.

The CIAA, Butwal Office Information Officer Suresh Bhusal shared that he was arrested red-handed as he was bargaining for the money to facilitate the export of timber from the area.
