278 new cases; one dies of COVID-19

One more person has died of COVID-19 in Nepal. According to Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Bikas Devkota, the deceased is a 28-year-old male from Surkhet district.

He died yesterday and confirmed to have infected with coronavirus today. With this, the number of death toll caused by COVID-19 has reached 11 in the country.

Likewise, 278 new cases of COVID-19 were identified today itself. Devkota added that of the total, 267 are male while 11 female. With these new cases, the number of infected has reached 2,912.

Meanwhile, COVID-19 cases were seen in three new districts as well and the number of infected districts has reached 68. Dr Devkota further shared that 333 patients were discharged after recovery. ——
