Man who died in Dailekh quarantine tests positive for coronavirus

A 35-year-old man who died on Saturday morning in a quarantine facility from Dullu Municipality in Dailekh is confirmed that he died of coronavirus infection.

He was under quarantine facility of Kalabhairav of Nepal Electricity Authority Building in Ward No. 11. His PRC test was positive while carrying out the test in Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, Jumla, Mayor of Dullu Municipality Ghanshyam Bhandari said.

The swab samples of the man were collected on Thursday. Mayor Bhandari said that consultations were being held with the officials of the District Administration Office about the final rites of the man.

Bhandari is the first to die of coronavirus infection the Karnali State.
