Nine new cases of COVID-19, total number of infected reaches 516

Kathmandu- Nine new cases of COVID-19 are reported Friday evening. With this, the total number of COVID-19 infected persons reached 516 in the country.

According to Assistant Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, the new cases were reported after the test result at National Health Laboratory, Teku; BP Koirala Institute of Health Science, Dharan; and a laboratory at Hetauda.

The new infected are 54-year-old woman of Hetauda Sub Metropolis-3, Makawanpur; 42-year-old woman of Bhaktapur Municiplaity-9 and 35-year-old male of Balan Bihul Rural Municipality of Saptari district. Similarly, other infected are 22, 27, 39, 34, and 35 year-old males of Simrangadh Municipality of Bara district.
