Six new cases of COVID-19 today totaling 273

Six new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded recently. According to Joint Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, six new cases were found while testing the swab of suspected persons at the National Public Health Laboratory, Teku.

The new infected are from Bardiya, Siraha, Parsa, Sarlahi and Chitwan districts. Of the six infected ones, three are male and three female, Adhikari added. The infected are a 28-year old woman from Narkhu, Bardiya; 30-year old male of Sakhuwa, Parsa; 28 and 29 year old males from Birgunj, Parsa; 18-year old woman of Ramnagar, Sarlahi; and 25-year-old woman of Gadhauli, Chitwan.

Adhikari further shared that all of them have normal health. With this, the total number of persons tested positive to COVID-19 has reached 273 in Nepal.
