Two people go missing in river

Kathmandu. A youth has gone missing after he was swept away by the Marsyangdi river at Bhuwanitaar of Shahid rural municipality-3 in Gorkha district. He is 19-year-old Krishna Bahadur Pun of Barendanda rural municipality-1 in Baglung district.

He was swept away by the river today afternoon while swimming. A 14-year-old boy of Pangkhola of Gandaki rural municipality in Gorkha has gone missing after being swept away by the Trishuli river today. He is Bikas Chepang, son of Rudra Bahadur Chepang.

He was swept away while fishing in the river, the Gorkha District Police Office stated. The boy was suddenly swept away while he was killing fish in the river with his father. A search is on for finding both the missing persons, police said.
