Over 33 thousand tested for COVID-19

A total of 33,562 people have so far been tested for Corona Virus across the county. Of them, 8,414 were tested by PCR method while 25,148 were tested through RDT.

It was shared at the regular press briefing organized by the Ministry of Health and Population today. The Ministry has shared that 324 people were tested by PCR method while 3,019 were tested by RDT methodology within the past 24 hours in the country.

Ministry spokesperson, Dr Bikas Devkota shared that 31 persons have tested COVID-19 positive so far in the country. Of them four have returned home after complete recovery while remaining are undergoing treatment in different hospital across the country and their health condition is normal.

Dr Devkota has said that COVID-19 test is now available in every district of the country.

Meanwhile, the Ministry has urged the hospitals (having special facilities) to continue their services to the needy patients of disease like cancer, heart problem, asthma, kidney dialysis, and emergency cases including delivery.
