Ambulance carrying passengers impounded

An ambulance being used to ferry passengers defying the lockdown has been impounded. District Police Office Tansen intercepted the ambulance carrying eight passengers from Palpa to Baglung at Helangdi of Tansen municipality-5 today.

The ambulance (Lu. 2 Cha. 1480) and its driver Damber Bahadur Sunar have been taken into custody, information officer at the DPO Suraj Shrestha said.

The police have impounded 265 vehicles so far, that were used defying the lockdown imposed to stem the spread of Corona Virus in the country.
