Chief Minister of Bagmati State Dormani Poudel has appealed to all Nepalis to stay cautious and safe against coronavirus that started from China and is gradually spreading other countries.

The state government is adopting preparedness against the infection, said Poudel in a message today. He in the message expressed sorrow over human loss and economic effects caused in neighbouring China by the virus. “In this time of sensitiveness and sorrow, the whole Nepal government and the Bagmati state government are with China fighting continuously with the monstrous virus.

I request the Nepali people in the virus-hit areas in China to have caution against the infection.” “We are saddened and worried by the news that the virus has spread South Korea housing a significant amount of Nepali migrant workers.

We all Nepalis should stay cautious in the context that the virus has spread more than 50 countries. In this situation, I request all Nepalis in the virus-affected countries to stay cautious and safe.”
