Ukrainian plane crash in Iran : All passenger dead

A Ukrainian Boeing-737 with 176 people onboard has crashed in Iran, according to local media of Iran. All the passengers on the plane are dead.

The aircraft belonging to Ukraine International Airlines crashed just after take-off from Iran’s Imam Khomeini airport in Tehran, said the Fars state news agency.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy extended his condolences to the families of the victims. The country’s Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk confirmed the casualty toll.
